Fees

Home | Fees

We accept all individuals, couples, and families, regardless of their ability to pay.

We never deny mental health services based on a person’s race, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ability to pay.

Our standard rate for a 50-minute session is $175 (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) and $200 (PsyD).

Health Insurance. Most mental health counseling sessions are covered by your health insurance plan or Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Depending on your plan, you may need a pre-authorization for services and you may have a co-payment or co-insurance.

Good Faith Estimate. Under the law, if you don’t have health insurance or are not using your health insurance plan, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much mental health services will cost. You can ask for a “Good Faith Estimate” before scheduling an appointment or at least one business day before a scheduled appointment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the “Good Faith Estimate,” you can dispute the bill.

Sliding Scale Fees for Uninsured Clients. You can request sliding scale fees if you are able to pay the costs of mental health care. We work with you to agree on an amount you can afford.

The Rev. Dr. Gary C. Augustin Client Assistance Fund for Clients with Limited Financial Resources (supported by donations and grants). You can receive subsidized mental health counseling if you are uninsured, under-insured, low-income, or elderly. Subsidies are also available if your health plan will not cover counseling services or if you cannot afford sliding scale fees, high deductibles, or high copays. We encourage you to pay an amount you can afford, to help replenish the Client Assistance Fund.

The Rev. Dr. George M. Clifford Pastoral Care Assistance Fund (supported by donations and grants). If you are a clergy or lay minister with limited financial means, you may qualify for subsidized mental health counseling. Subsidies are also available if your health plan will not cover counseling services, pastoral counseling, or spiritual direction, or if you cannot afford sliding scale fees, high deductibles, or high copays.
